3) Keep in mind this is a INDIAN film with major crew n cast are from India.
If you dont do either of the above three listed things, you will end up finding the loop holes.

Performances :
Rajni Kanth : Rather than Vasikar he scored the max As chitti,which got two shades in it. untill last 30 mins we dont see energy in Rajni Kanth. He have to underplay for the character which will be a huge disappointment.
Aishwarya Rai : She is awesome, she looked very pretty and cant even imagine some other playing the role of SANA. she looked awesome her acting was good, could have taken more care about the makeup to see a 100% perfect beauty on the screen.
Rest all the cast was so so. Director used them to the extent he needed them.
Technical Departments :
Cinematography : The work in this department was awesome. Lighting schemes are good. Rathnavel who showed his talent with JAGADAM, got THE BIG chance and he used it big time.
Editing : Editing could have been lot better. Scenes exceeded length and no work has been done to cut short time. Movie run time literally tests ur patience as the basic story plot was dumb.
Music : Music was awesome, 3 songs were good on screen. BGM is superb in key scenes.
Story-Screenplay-Direction : Basic plot was sick, scenes around it are dumb. Screenplay is old wine in new bottle. Traditional screenplay style covered with lavish frames. But when u think only about screenplay, the same is been followed in Indian cinema over decades. Director is awesome when it comes to his imagination in the last 20 mins.Except that 20mins there is seriously nothing in the movie. Story telling was poor and all the loop holes are covered the Hype n Rajni. With out last 20mins this movie would be a dud. Only that 20mins changed the entire fate. Graphics are good in those last 20mins. Children will like those 20mins, they will enjoy it. Seriously could not see 150 crs on screen. At the max counting everything it would have been costed Kalanithi maran 80crs, thats all.
If u frequently watch hollywood flicks and if u compare this with those u will not find this good. but before comparing keep in mind one thing, whats the market of this film and what are the budget constraints. One this is for sure Atleast In India Rajni Kanth holds better market than many hollywood films. Most of them dont spent their 50/- on a 1:30 mins English flick rather they would prefer spending on 2:30 hrs rotten mass masala flick. And for them this movie would be a visual feast, coz they dont see this kind of sci0fi flicks very often. They will love it for sure.
On a whole its a kill u till death flick with awesome last 20mins. Without these 20mins you dont have anything. But one thing is sure this will show what Indian technicians can do if they were given a chance. As a hardcore Indian cinema lover I am proud that this is our film and they made a try at least. Sankar is over confident and ignored many silly things. A perfect plot with nail biting screenplay could have made this a film A WONDER. You can watch it once for sure keeping in mind the first 3 points I mentioned in the very beginning of the review, you will enjoy it. Will do good in A centers and can pull the crowds in B and C too. Will be a Profit maker.
